Our Boats

All Barrier Reef Boats are designed from the hull up ensure safe, offshore boating whilst providing the comfort and versatility for cruising with the family.

Constructed using 5083 Marine Grade aluminium plate, our boats feature several design inclusions which enable stability and excellent handling in all conditions of conditions.

Our hulls feature reverse chines which deflect most water splashing up from the propulsion, helping to keep the deck dry. This feature enhances overall performance throughout the boat ride, enabling a smooth and seamless propulsion.
A self draining deck design ensures that any water that comes onto the boat deck is drained out scuppers located in the stern. We seal the entire deck around the edges where it meets the hull and the whole deck is kept above the waterline.

Our 50 years experience in boatbuilding means that we can also build custom made boats to your particular requirements. We have built boats in varying sizes to suit all tastes and styles of boating with our 4.6 metre Northern Explorer proving to be very popular with northern boaties.
